| She saw the face
from Heaven of a child she didn't know The little girl quietly whispered "why didn't you let me grow?" A time to reveal the horrible truth of a "spark" she'd easily destroyed But if only she had let her live there'd be no empty void From Heaven a second face of a boy not allowed to be This "spark" she'd given to science justification for murder, you see? But his gentle innocent face begged only she give some clue About why she had created him then made certain he never grew Other faces haunt her now those of children she'd given away So carelessly passed to strangers in them her tiny "babes" lay Oh why did you create us then throw us into the abyss Without ever considering once what we'd be destined to miss? So many unknown faces all victims of modern science In this practise hailed as progress lies a cruelty with dark alliance All children need to be Loved despite humanity's selfish needs Instead the focus is on self alone and the ego it constantly feeds No matter its technical term abortion screams out loud Let us live to grow and play without an unholy shroud! So many faces and haunting tears destruction by a heartless deed Yet who will stand accountable for the fate of the unwanted seed? ~ ~ ~ ~ Note: Sadly the spark (embryo) means nothing to scientists but in God's Love the tiny spark is precious. "Despite man's intervention and cruel ways the soul belongs to God. Forever it remains indestructible." Andrina Lejon |
