Silent cries are stripped of choice
When the joy of love turns to hate
Unspeakable terror hasn’t a voice
Pity the children of this brutal fate

Destructive methods of cruelty
Of horrid unimagined ways
Murder of innocent beings
When sacred trust betrays

A tiny helpless form
Quietly waits to grow
The beauty of life yet unborn
But no mercy do we show

Children of the womb!
Few may hear your cries
Powerless are we to help you
As your tiny body dies

The terror of abortion
An unholy vile shame
A war upon the innocents
The babies without a name

We light a candle
In your memory now
For terrorised babes unborn
We keep our solemn vow

We’ll speak out against
Every murderous way
As humanity sinks and drowns
In a system of rotting decay

All unborn, a gift from God
For their deaths a price to pay
We must stop killing all children
Where the child of light once lay.
